What duration should I book for a birthday party?

For most birthday parties, we recommend 2 hours. This allows enough time for all guests to get painted with a lovely design. As a general guide, we can paint approximately 10 faces per hour for full designs and special requests, or up to 15-20 per hour for smaller, quicker designs where we use a menu board. If you have a large number of guests, or want to ensure everyone gets an elaborate design, please consider booking for a longer duration or enquiring about a second artist. We also cater to intimate parties, we are always happy to discuss your specific party size and needs to help you choose the perfect timing.

Do you travel outside of Brisbane, Australia?

Absolutely! We have artists based in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Ipswich and regularly travel for parties and events. A travel fee may apply depending on the distance from the Brisbane. Please contact us with your event location and details, and we'll provide a customised quote that includes any applicable travel costs. We love bringing our sparkle to events far and wide!

What kind of designs do you offer?

We offer a wide range of designs to suit all ages and themes, from popular superheroes, princesses, and animals to fantastical creatures, intricate florals, and custom requests. How does Majestic Face Painting handle hygiene and safety?

Our commitment to hygiene and safety is unwavering. We use a fresh, clean sponge for every person, and all brushes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between events and we use a three pot system during events. Our water is changed frequently throughout the event, and our kits are meticulously maintained. We also adhere to strict hygiene practices, including hand sanitisation, to ensure a fun, safe, and sparkling experience for everyone. All artists hold current Working With Children's checks. Your peace of mind is our priority!

How do I make a booking?

Booking Majestic Face Painting for your event is super easy! Simply head over to our Contact page and fill out our enquiry form, or you can email us directly at info@majesticfacepainting.com.auor call us on 0438 870 506. Please provide details such as the date, time, location, and type of event, as well as the estimated number of guests. We'll get back to you promptly with availability and a customised quote. A deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due the Thursday before the event day.

What preparation is needed for your visit on the day?

To ensure a smooth setup, we require a small, clear space (approx. 2x2 metres) with good lighting. Easy access to the setup area is always appreciated. We'll arrive approximately 15-20 minutes before our scheduled start time to set up for parties and an 45-60 minutes for larger events.

What if it rains on the day of my outdoor event?

For outdoor events, we always recommend having a backup undercover area available in case of inclement weather, such as a gazebo, patio, or indoor space. Our face paints are water-activated, so they can run if exposed to rain.
